Revelation

Welcome to the Journey

The book of Revelation was not written to frighten believers, but to steady them.
It is the record of John — the last living witness to walk beside Jesus — sharing what he saw, heard, and was told to write down.
In these episodes, we move carefully through the text, letting scripture interpret scripture, and keeping our eyes fixed on the One at the center of it all.

How to Use the Revelation Series

  • Listen to each episode in order — every week builds on the last.
  • Download the journal page for that episode. Use it to note what stands out, answer the reflection prompts, and keep the prayer for the week close at hand.
  • Pray the prayer for the week daily, letting it shape how you see God’s Word and how you live it out.
  • Review your notes as we move forward — watch how God weaves the threads together.

By the end of the series, you will have your own Revelation prayer journal — a personal record of God’s truth speaking into your life.

A Prayer as We Begin
Lord, let Your Word be more than words on a page to us.
Weave it into the quiet places of our minds, the hurried moments of our days, and the choices we make when no one is watching.
Open our eyes to the patterns of Your truth — in history, in the present, and in the corners of our own hearts.
And as we learn, let learning turn to living, so that our lives become a testimony of Your steadfast love.
Draw us near as we begin this journey through Revelation, and let every step bring us closer to You. Amen

“Frazzeled Angel”

In the header, a very patient (and slightly frazzled) angel stares down at earth, watching humans twist God’s Word into balloon animals no one asked for. Christianese is here to laugh, untangle, and point back to God’s truth — one “hedge of protection” at a time.
